Geolife's Navmii Personal Navigation Comes to iPhone PDF Print E-mail
Written by GeoLife Ltd
Sunday, 15 November 2009

GeoLife today announced the availability of Navmii turn-by-turn navigation for the iPhone from the Apple App Store at only GBP29.99.

LONDON, November 11 -- Turn by Turn Personal Navigation Made Simple for iPhone Users

- Available Now From Apple iTunes for Only GBP29.99

Navmii makes navigation on the iPhone a breeze. Search an address by city, street, house or postcode with Navmii's address input. Add favourite locations or access recent destinations; Navmii then calculates the best route to your destination.

Navmii automatically reroutes if you miss a turn. You can preview your route before you leave, and Navmii provides Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and distance to destination (DTD) as you travel. Thousands of points of interest mean you always know where the closest petrol station, cash point, shops, or places to eat and stay are.

Navmii also ensures safety comes first, with the latest safety camera database and warnings when you are speeding or approaching a safety camera.

Peter Atalla, CEO of Navmii said: "Over 30 million iPhone users can now get great value navigation software. Once you buy and download Navmii that's it, no monthly charges or expensive map or software updates - just a great personal navigation experience."

"Why buy an expensive sat nav system when you can download Navmii and get all the benefits of a sat nav system to your iPhone for a fraction of the cost?"
