TerraGo Releases Enhancements to 3D Composer for Adobe Acrobat and Mobile for Android Offerings
Updates facilitate deployment of interactive location intelligence to the edge
The updated applications are part of the TerraGo Location
Intelligence Platform, an integrated solution that enables users to
discover location intelligence from any source, integrate geospatial
intelligence and deliver situational awareness to anyone, anywhere, in
online and bandwidth-restricted environments.
TerraGo delivers innovative solutions that streamline the process of
turning information into actionable, place-based intelligence and
putting it into the hands of people who act, said George Demmy, TerraGo
Chief Technology Officer. These enhancements significantly extend the
scope and reach of our 3D and mobile workflows.
The latest version of TerraGo 3D Composer for Adobe Acrobat includes
expanded functionality to the Create 3D GeoPDF application introduced
late last year that allows users to produce 3D GeoPDF models by draping
image textures over terrain data. The new release adds support for 2D
GeoPDF maps, as well as a number of new image formats to use as the
image drape, dramatically simplifying the creation and reducing the cost
of deployable 3D GEOINT.
The TerraGo Collaboration Manager, used to create geoforms for field
data capture and prepare geospatial intelligence for use on mobile
devices, has been boosted to enable users to create even more compact
GeoPDF maps and imagery for use with TerraGo Mobile. Reducing the file
size of GeoPDF maps ensures that users in bandwidth-restricted
environments are able to leverage advanced geospatial intelligence for
situational awareness, field data capture and collaboration.
Usability enhancements to the widely deployed TerraGo Toolbar further
facilitate advanced geospatial collaboration and location intelligence
through a more streamlined user experience. With TerraGo Toolbar, users
do not need specialized training or equipment to access, update, share
and return current location-based information back to the enterprise.
