FREE American Casino Guide App, Featuring Detailed Information on All U.S. Casinos, Now Available for iPhone and iPad
DANIA BEACH, Fla., Dec. 5, 2012 -- Travelers looking for information on any U.S.
casino/resort, riverboat or Indian casino can now download the FREE
American Casino Guide app for the iPhone and iPad.
The app was developed by the publishers of the American Casino Guide
book, which has been published annually for the past 20 years and is the
#1 best-selling book in the U.S. on the subject of casino gambling and
travel.
Users can easily search for any casino by name, city, state or zip
code. The app then gives detailed information on each casino, including:
address, phone numbers (with one touch calling), room rates, buffet
prices, games offered, availability of money-saving coupon offers,
turn-by-turn directions, plus a direct link to each casino's web site.
A special "casinos nearby" feature of the app uses location-based
technology to show users a list, or map view, of all casinos within a
100-mile radius of their current location. Coupled with turn-by-turn
directions, this is an especially useful tool for motorists traveling
the highways and wanting to make a leisurely stop at a nearby casino.
An especially popular feature of the app is its "Special Offers"
section which lists all of the casinos that have money-saving coupon
offers in the 2013 American Casino Guide book, plus any other casinos that are offering special savings to users
of the app. Users can search for offers by casino name, or they can use
the map view which will pinpoint which nearby casinos are offering
those special savings.
There are more than 200 offers listed in the app, including FREE
buffets, FREE rooms, FREE shows, FREE slot play, FREE matchplay money,
FREE drinks, plus many other discounts.
The app also allows users to read thousands of casino reviews that
have been written by other users and posted on the
americancasinoguide.com web site. Additionally, users can view photos of
each casino, when available. Users can also post their own casino
reviews through the app and they can also upload their own photos.
For casino-goers wanting to increase their odds of winning, the app
provides a comprehensive database of articles detailing the best
strategies for playing all of the most popular casino games, such as
slot machines, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat.
An additional section of the app provides users with a library of "how-to-gamble videos".
The 35 videos, which have been viewed more than 1.7 million times, are
hosted on the American Casino Guide's YouTube channel and a new video is
added each month. Casino expert, Steve Bourie,
who is also author of the American Casino Guide book, serves as the
host of the videos and gives tips to viewers on how to play the most
popular casinos games, as well as how to use the best strategies for
winning.
For those who would prefer to buy the new 2013 edition of the
496-page American Casino Guide and take advantage of its 200 casino
coupons that offer more than $1,000 in savings, the book sells for $18.95 at bookstores and participating AAA offices. However, the book can also be ordered online for a discounted price of only $11.75 at http://www.americancasinoguide.com/order-now.html. Other major online retailers, such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Walmart, also stock the book.
