Australian Information Industry Association honors Intergraph mobile resource management solution with national award
HUNTSVILLE, June 9, 2005 - Intergraph Corporation <NASDAQ: INGR> today announced the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) recognized Intergraph's mobile resource management (MRM) platform based on IntelliWhere TrackForce with a 2005 iAward. The AIIA award honors the most innovative product or solution for developing any software or hardware application, which is commonly used by enterprises or business entities to improve efficiency and productivity. Intergraph received the top national honor in the General Applications category.
IntelliWhere TrackForce, a server-based, highly scalable platform, enables enterprises to manage mobile resources based on real-time information from the field. The product allows the user to perform real-time situational analysis by validating location, status, and sensor information against rules-based alarms. Supervisors and dispatchers can improve response time to critical circumstances or overt the situation entirely ensuring better service and public safety. The Intergraph MRM solution has been adopted by organizations as varied as U.S. federal government security teams, the Dutch police and Maui Electric.
