Forum Nokia Brings 'TechTour2006' Mobile Development Workshop to Boston

One-day Event to Introduce Mobile Application Tools and Platforms to Local Developers
BOSTON, April 17 -- Nokia (NYSE: NOK - News), the global leader in mobility, announced today that it will bring its "TechTour2006" application developer event to the Boston area on April 25, 2006. Sponsored by Forum Nokia, the world's largest dedicated mobile developer community, and mobile telecommunications software provider Symbian, this one-day program will introduce local developers to mobile application tools, platforms and business opportunities.
TechTour2006 is an intensive day-long workshop in creating mobile applications and content for the lucrative market of more than 350 million Nokia platform device users. Led by Nokia, Symbian and wireless operator experts, the sessions will teach developers about Nokia platforms and how to best improve mobile development skills.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network with Java and Symbian OS experts, wireless operators and other mobile developers. During the program, they will learn about Forum Nokia technical services, Nokia platforms, business development opportunities, and Symbian OS, Java and C++ overviews for Nokia platforms.
TechTour2006 will take place on Tuesday, April 25 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Guest Suites, 400 Soldiers Field Road, Allston, MA.
