Agreement is Part of KOREM's Location Intelligence and Geospatial Offerings

CHICAGO, April 3 -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, has been selected as a map data provider by KOREM Inc., a leader in the development and integration of web-mapping solutions and geographic information systems. NAVTEQ will provide KOREM with quarterly map updates for integration and deployment with KOREM's geospatial and location intelligence solutions for its extensive customer base in Canada and the U.S.

KOREM provides companies and organizations with comprehensive location intelligence solutions that significantly improve information access, analysis and communication for a better decision-making. Whether it is for a call center, asset management, dealer locator, target marketing, monitoring and tracking solutions, KOREM develops and implements solutions that perfectly adapt to their customers strategic requirements.

NAVTEQ employs one of the industry's most comprehensive development and quality control programs, for the highest levels of quality and precision. Executed by a team of over 550 field researchers, the NAVTEQ database includes detailed attributes from turn restrictions and relative road crossing heights to road segment access restrictions, one-way streets and speed categories that help optimize routing. Additionally, NAVTEQ maps include Points of Interest including restaurants, hospitals, shopping centers and leisure facilities, making it easier to locate and route to many different destinations.

"NAVTEQ's field-based data collection processes together with their adherence to rigorous quality metrics, convinced us that including NAVTEQ data in KOREM's offering was an increased value for our customer base. We are excited about collaborating with NAVTEQ to service our Canadian and U.S. customer base," commented Sebastien Vachon, President, KOREM Inc.

"The collaboration between NAVTEQ and KOREM is a natural fit due to KOREM's depth of knowledge and expertise in implementing geospatial solutions," commented Roy Kolstad, Vice President and General Manager - Business and Government Solutions, NAVTEQ. "As location intelligence solutions continue to expand, customers demand an accurate and equally expansive infrastructure to support growth. NAVTEQ provides map data that allows government and commercial organizations to better manage their operations and critical assets."
