7 Awesome mobile Apps On My Android Smartphone Right Now…

I test lots of mobile apps.. tons of them actually, so deciding which
apps are going to remain on my smartphone can be a little tricky!
Obviously, if you have an app and expect it to remain on my deck at my
fingertips it MUST provide me with at least a little bit of awesomeness!
The following are 7 sweet and useful mobile apps that are currently on
my smartphone (a Samsung Galaxy SII Android)
Photo to Pinterest everyone is using Pinterest
these days and Im no exception. This is a handy utility that enables me
to quickly share my photos with Pinterest. I can quickly snap a pic or
pull one from my gallery, then Pin it and also share vbia Twitter and
facebook. It also integrates with other third pary apps to provide
custom effects on my photos (like LightBox)
MLB At Bat (lite) Im a big baseball nut and I
like to keep tabs on how the Rockies, Mariners and Blue Jays are doing.
This app gives me real time scores and news updates and I can even
listen live to any game (thats a paid option)
TextPlus Im in Canada and right now my kid is in
the USA. TextPlus is a handy service providing us with free text
messaging done over network or WiFi no pesky text roaming fees from
the carriers!
DropBox Dropbox for Android is way cool and
provides access to files that I have on my PC and have shared through my
dropbox account. you can even auto post your pics here while on
vacation for instant sharing with people sharing your folders.
INRIX traffic when I need real time traffic
updates, like when Im running late for a trip to the airport I always
check INRIX. A simple but way useful app!
MeetUp I use MeetUp.com to stay in touch with
local events and meet ups. the mobile app is handy and gives me access
to loads of local events, tweetups, and geek ups. the mobile app is a
must for any MeetUp user.
TuneInRadio Im a big fan of Internet radio and
this app gives me everything I need. I get access to any genre any time
any place. If you see me running chances are good that Im listening to
music streamed from this app!
