Announcing the Fourth Annual Duke's Choice Awards!

Every year the world's biggest Java technology event, the JavaOne conference, culminates with the Duke's Choice awards. The awards celebrate extreme innovation in the world of Java technology. They are granted to the best and most innovative projects using the Java platform.
Winners will receive a statuette of "Duke," the Java technology mascot, at JavaOne and depending on the application, they are also eligible to be featured on java.com, and to participate in other co-marketing and PR activities.
How the Winning Entries Are Selected
Winners are selected by James Gosling, Scott McNealy, and the Java technology leadership team. Judging will be based on the innovation and creativity of the Java technology-based applications and services, including web applications and tools, mobile applications and services, games, and card-based applications.
