New Agreements with Departments of Transportation nationwide will add
over 750 traffic cameras to the TrafficLand video network
Fairfax, Virginia, October 25, 2011--TrafficLand®,
the largest authorized aggregator of live traffic video in the U.S.,
announced today it has reached agreements with Departments of
Transportation (DOT) in California, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Rhode
Island. Under the agreements, TrafficLand gains authorized access to
live video from traffic camera networks operated by the following state
and municipal transportation departments: Santa Clara County Roads
Dept. 450 cameras; Burlington County NJ 50 cameras; New Hampshire DOT
approximately 130 cameras; and Rhode Island DOT approximately 145
cameras.
Live
traffic video from 148 U.S. cities is available on TrafficLands
national network of over 11,000 cameras, which is used by commuters,
media, first responders and others through a wide range of services and
technology platformsincluding the number one traffic App for iPhone
and iPad.
