Marks the first such arrangement with a navigation content provider; Motricity strengthens EMEA presence

DURHAM, NC — February 13, 2006 — Motricity, a leading mobile content and solutions provider, today announced a partnership with gate5 AG, a leading supplier of software and services for location-based information on mobile devices. This partnership will result in the creation of two storefronts-the first transforms the smartphone or pocket PC into a full-scale navigation system, and the second is specific to Personal Navigation Devices. Both will offer nearly 1,000 products and will be available in several languages, including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

"Having a user-friendly, attractive storefront is critical," said Andreas Hoffmann, head of marketing for gate5. "We use city maps and guides from premium partners with thousands of entries for each city to look up hotels, restaurants, hospitals or tourist sites. We want to make sure we combine the best navigation content with the best consumer experience as well."

"Securing this arrangement with gate5 reflects the increasing number of global content providers who choose Motricity to enable the best possible experience for their consumers," said Ralf Ockenfelds, general manager of Motricity's Mobile2Day division, based in Munich, Germany. Motricity also recently announced storefront provision partnerships with Sony Ericsson and Palm.

Demonstrations of the new storefront will be available in Motricity's stand at the 3GSM World Congress--Stand #J66, Hall 2, Upper Level, and at gate5's stand--Hall 2, Level 1, Booth H74.
