New Offender Monitoring Service Providers Expand Sales Channel to Local Communities
OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 18-- iSECUREtrac(TM) Corp. (BULLETIN BOARD: ISEC) , an industry leader in offender monitoring solutions utilizing global positioning systems (GPS) and wireless technologies, announced today that during the fourth quarter of 2005 it has signed agreements for the distribution of its electronic monitoring systems with seven regional monitoring service providers. This brings the total number of iSECUREtrac outside sales channel partners to 30.
The agreements cover the distribution of iSECUREtrac Active and Passive GPS location monitoring systems, as well as its Remote Breath Alcohol Detection Systems. The new distributors will offer monitoring services to local corrections agencies covering Montana, Minnesota, Michigan, Idaho, and Florida, and must meet minimum performance requirements.
Tom Wharton, CEO of iSECUREtrac said, "The addition of these new distributors reflects the growing interest from local and regional firms that want to offer monitoring support services to State and County Corrections Agencies. Many Corrections Agencies don't have the workforce to implement an offender monitoring and community supervision program, and look to outsource these services to local and regional providers. The providers have now turned to us for the best, most reliable monitoring systems on the market. This represents a substantial enhancement to our direct sales force and the community supervision services we already offer our customers. We expect this distributor channel to continue to grow and bring us strong returns in 2006."
