New Product Converts Motorola iDEN Phones Into Desktop System and Local Phone Companion Now Available for Sprint Nextel Users.
MIAMI, FL-- On January 16, 2006, users nationwide will be able to take advantage of the AdvanceCommunicator Desktop Speakerphone/Base Station, a new product created by AdvanceTec Industries.
The AdvanceCommunicator will benefit members of various markets including the public sector, government, schools and universities, hospitals and first responders such as fire and police departments and emergency transport agencies. With a focus on interoperability and disaster preparedness, this product will help companies to avoid the lack of communication seen recently in our nations natural disasters.
The AdvanceCommunicator is revolutionizing the way various sectors communicate. Not only does the product improve signal reception in remote facilities, it allows Walkie Talkie and cellular conversations to be recorded via an analog audio output port. This recording capability is considered by many Sprint Nextel public sector and emergency response customers to be one of the most important features of the AdvanceCommunicator
Through the use of the AdvanceCommunicatorsmaller agencies and companies can also have the ability to capture mission critical conversations and thus provide more reliable and accurate service to their customers and communities. The AdvanceCommunicatorhas the capability to be used as a portable base station or communication center when used with a laptop or in a command vehicle. Itfunctions as a stand-alone unit or can convert into a computer-assisted communication system with a Windows-based software program.
The AdvanceCommunicator converts Motorola iDEN phones into a desktop unit* that can be used to make and receive both Walkie Talkie and cellular calls. Sprint Nextel customers will be able to choose from two models. The AdvanceCommunicator AT3052 for the i710 and i730 or the AT3054 for the newer clamshell i760, i850 with WiDEN and i860 phones.
Users of the AdvanceCommunicator communicate through a built-in speaker and microphone or an attached privacy handset. A built-in rapid charging facility ensures the phone is ready for use when removed from the cradle. When using the Windows-based interface, dubbed AdvanceTrack, users of the AdvanceCommunicatorcan control most of their calling activity with a click of a mouse. The unique AdvanceTrack program enables users to originate and terminate cellular and Walkie Talkie calls, expand their address book capacity, attach photographs and distinctive ring tones, track and export all call activity from any Windows based PC or laptop.
