LBSzone.com was established in 2003. The site takes it's roots from a start as a casual weblog focused on LBS created by Glenn Letham.
Letham used the LBSzone blog to post news and articles focused on location-based services while he was transitioning from life in Florida back to British Columbia. LBSzone.com grew for several months until Letham put her to sleep while devoting his time to the development of GISuser.com
One year later Spatial Media LLC, owners of GISuser.com and LBSzone.com, has brought back to life the LBSzone.
