SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 21 - Continuing to drive GPS further into the mainstream market, SiRF Technology Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRF) , a leading provider of GPS-enabled location technology, today revealed that its flagship SiRFstarIII(TM) GPS technology is at the heart of TomTom's RIDER, a high performance portable navigation system specifically designed for use on motorcycles and scooters. TomTom is a leading provider of personal navigation products and services to the US and European consumer markets.

The TomTom RIDER includes an integrated GPS receiver based on SiRFstarIII technology with 20-channel all-in-view tracking and an integrated GPS antenna. The tough, weather-resistant case fixes easily to any motorbike, motorcycle or scooter, and can be transferred from one bike to another and even to a car. Its simple, easy-to-use touch screen has been designed to work even with gloves, and features an anti-glare face and integrated sun visor that ensures the best view of the screen possible.
