Madrid, Spain, February 16, 2010 - It'sMiVideo is an application on
Facebook, developed by Cystelcom Sistemas, that enables users to record
and send video messages to friends using video calling-a feature
available on practically all 3G telephones-without having to install
any application, or directly from the application on Facebook using a
webcam.
Video messages can be sent privately, to one individual or groups of friends. Users also can manage their Inbox right from the Facebook application or from their mobile phone. Using a credit system, the application enables users to download video messages to their PC or post them to YouTube.
The application provides a new way to promote video calling services, facilitating content generation and communication among Facebook users, and enabling new business models with complementary services via premium SMS, PayPal or advertising.
Manuel Cuenca Vélez, Cystelcom Sistemas CEO stated, "It'sMiVideo is a new application for mobile users that lets them engage with their friends on Facebook by sending video messages using any 3G phone with video calling. This gives users who don't have a Smartphone an easy way to interact with friends on Facebook."
Soon It'sMiVideo will include new features like "Funny Videos," which enables users to create their own parodies of popular videos by replacing the main characters in the video by using their webcam. These videos can be shared with friends on the Facebook platform, and in the near future, on other social networks.
