ExxonMobil Selects Blue Sky Network to Globally Track and Communicate With Remote Transportation Assets

LA JOLLA, Calif. Dec. 5, 2005--Blue Sky Network today announced that ExxonMobil Global Services Company has chosen Blue Sky Network's global satellite logistics solution to provide transportation asset tracking and communication services to affiliated companies in the ExxonMobil group of companies. Many of these ExxonMobil affiliated companies operate in challenging and remote locations without an existing communications infrastructure.

Blue Sky Network is the only provider of a truly global, end-to-end solution that is tailored for the oil and gas industry, delivering hardware, data service, and Internet based mapping all in one package. The solution enables customers, dispatchers and logistics managers to monitor the safety of their cargo and passengers continuously while onboard any type of transportation asset, including aircraft, vessels, cars and trucks; from any Internet connection anywhere in the world.

ExxonMobil affiliated companies can also use the BSN equipment for voice connections, to send and receive messages, including Mayday alerts, between remote mobile assets and operation bases -- giving it the ability to be in touch at all times.

"We're very proud to have been selected by ExxonMobil. They are a true global leader in vendor selection processes, including rigorous internal best practices and security considerations. In the oil and gas industry, it is our opinion that ExxonMobil's selection gives us the highest stamp of approval," said Jon Gilbert, president and CEO of Blue Sky Network. "Equally important, our solution will help ExxonMobil affiliated companies ensure their high corporate value of safety, especially where those companies are operating in extremely remote locations."
