The SymbianOne Symbian OS Mobile Freeware Application Directory
Written by SymbianOne
Friday, 18 November 2005
By popular demand, we've added a "freeware" directory to the popular SymbianOne mobile application downloads directory. Users can now find numerous pointers to Free symbian applications, games, and utilities (S60, S80, UIQ)
The "Downloads" section at SymbianOne has always been one of the most popular features of the website. Currently there are close to 500 applications listed, however, it had been tough to differentiate between freeware, trialware, demos, and even commercial applications. Users can now easily locate bonafide "freeware" applications - simply go to the Downloads Repository, browse to the bottom of the page and select the FREEWARE category.
More than 30 applications have already been listed, including productivity tools, games, moblogging tools, file management utilities, and much more.
Developers and publishers are invited to Submit their applications to the Freeware directory. Simply login to your SymbianOne account to provide details of your application (subject to approval) or use the simple contact form to provide us with details of your application. In order to maintain valid links, we will link directly to third party websites for direct download so users can be sure to access the most current version.
Applications available include mobile games, navigation ware, office apps, productivity tools, mobile blogging apps, and much more.
The symbian freeware directory conveniently lists applications in alphabetical order. Each application listing includes a description, author info, file specifications, link to author's website, and direct link to download the application.
