RhoHub Offers Easy Native Smartphone Application Development For Android Smartphones Including DROID
CUPERTINO, Calif., Nov. 17 -- Rhomobile, the makers of the Rhodes smartphone app framework, today announced the compatibility of RhoHub, the worlds first Development-as-a-Service for mobile, with Android 2.0 and the recently announced DROID by Motorola. RhoHub allows developers of all levels to utilize their HTML and Ruby skills to create robust native applications for Android smartphones including the new DROID by Motorola.
RhoHub reduces development costs by up to five times by enabling smartphone and web developers to code native smartphone applications in HTML and Ruby on a hosted service. RhoHub allows developers to collaborate on building native smartphone apps from any location and allows for the creation of robust mobile applications that take full advantage of smartphone capabilities such as GPS, PIM data and camera.

RhoHub is available in three tiers: Free, Basic and Premium. The Free tier is for public apps with 3-runtime users and 50MB disk space. The Basic service allows for 3 private apps, 3 private collaborators with 100-runtime users and 2GB disk space. RhoHub's Premium service offers 100 private apps, 100 private collaborators with 1000-runtime users and 20GB disk space.
