uLocate Names David Chang New Vice President of Product

Company Strengthens Executive Team with Recognized Leader in Mobile and Web
BOSTON-- uLocate Communications, Inc., North America's leading publisher of location-based mobile services, today announced that the company has named David Chang as Vice President of Product. Chang, a veteran in the innovative mobile and web start-up space, brings exceptional consumer product experience to the Boston-based company.
As Vice President of Product, Chang will be responsible for managing the strategy and development of uLocate's portfolio of products, including the top ranked mobile consumer applications WHEREr and Traffic.com.
Chang comes to uLocate most recently from Mobicious, the company behind the mobile photo-sharing site SnapMyLife, where he was Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing. Previously, Chang was the Director of Product Marketing at m-Qube, a pioneer in the mobile content space, which was acquired by VeriSign in 2006. Prior to joining m-Qube, he was Director of New Products at TripAdvisor, one of the most popular travel websites, where he introduced new online advertising and search features to meet consumers' needs. Prior to TripAdvisor, he held senior product management roles at edocs and Goldman Sachs. Chang holds a BS with Distinction in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
