WARSAW. August 26, 2009- Polish mobile solutions innovator Psiloc
launched the latest edition of the company's mobile travel-aid
application, World Traveler which now includes FLIGHTS, a premium plug-
in that alerts users to flight delays or status changes in real time.
"FLIGHTS lets you search by flight number or by location (city, airport or country) and allows you to save search results, check the status of your flights anytime and be automatically alerted to changes in real-time (standard mobile Internet connections will apply)," World Traveler Product Director Wojciech Nowanski said Monday.
"This is a premium air travel utility plug-in that makes it possible to select, track and be alerted to flights from within the World Traveler application," Nowanski added.
The new plug- in is another step forward for Psiloc's World Traveler, whose goal is to improve travel efficiency through the FLIGHTS application's simple yet powerful flight search, tracking and alert capabilities.
Psiloc's CEO Marek Filipiak added that the new application is geared to make life more convenient for the modern, savvy traveler-and that its simplicity and ease of use is an indication of just where the company is headed.
"World Traveler introduces a new concept of mobile services for anyone who travels," Filipiak said. "It will provide both free and billable, travel-related content and plug-in services."
A trial version of the new FLIGHTS plug-in can be downloaded for free at www.worldtraveler.biz or from the company's online shop at shop.psiloc.com. Following the trial period, the premium plug-in is available for ?5.99 for 31 days or ?29.95 for one year.
