Previously, the mobile application component of Geodexy was only available for use on devices utilizing the Windows MobileT operating system.
Bryson Hale, Director of Marketing for Spatial Networks, commented on the release, "With nearly 50% of the North American prosumer or smartphone market being on the RIM operating system, we felt this was an imperative element on our product roadmap for Geodexy. We also have other mobile OS versions in the queue such as iPhone, Android and Symbian that will expand our market reach, not only in North America, but globally."
Geodexy, is a simple-to-use Web service for gathering information in regards to one or more locations. With minimal training, Geodexy users can quickly create custom forms, download them to any Windows MobileT or BlackberryT device and be out collecting information in a matter of minutes. The data, which can include photos, GPS points and more, can be instantly uploaded to the Web from anywhere and viewed in a browser on a map or exported in various formats. A product demonstration can be found at geodexy.com.
