Hemisphere GPS Releases New Software for Outback S3

Hiawatha, KS -March 2, 2009 - (TSX: HEM) Hemisphere GPS today announced
the availability of new supplemental software release for the popular
Outback S3T. Outback S3 software release version 2.11 includes new
features and enhancements that elevate Outback S3's performance to a
new level.
This latest software enables Outback S3 to be operated in 19 international languages. It also features new vehicle graphics for more realistic depictions of vehicle and implements behavior during guidance. Enhancements in mapping allow Outback S3 to better display vehicle location as well as intentional skip/overlap for a more accurate representation of field coverage. The new Contour LockT feature improves operation in a point-row environment, and the addition of a red guideline in contour mode provides better guidance on curves and headlands. A refined screen layout displays clear and easy-to-read job data in real time. The new software also features a wide array of other enhancements that make job management even easier such as the ability to edit detailed descriptions of field features on the fly. Outback S3 software release version 2.11 is loaded with features and benefits making the system even more user-friendly.
