Print images and photos directly from your BlackBerry smartphone using Cortado Basic Print
(Berlin, March 2009) Cortado, a global leader in mobile applications, is today announcing an enhancement of its basic mobile printing solution 'Cortado Basic Print' to allow users to print images and photos directly from their BlackBerryr smartphone to Bluetoothr enabled printers.
Cortado Basic Print from Cortado, which specializes in mobile business applications, thus establishes a bridge between BlackBerry smartphones and Bluetoothr enabled photo printers available on the market.
"BlackBerry smartphones offer extensive multimedia functions. With Cortado Basic Print, we increase the benefits offered by the integrated camera for both business as well as recreational users," says Carsten Mickeleit, Managing Director of Cortado.
In addition to printing photos and images, installing Cortado Basic Print on a smartphone also gives users the option to print e-mails, contacts, notes, tasks and calendar entries. The application supports almost all Bluetoothr-capable photo printers (e.g. Canon, HP and Polaroid) as well as simple text printers (if only text printing is required).
Cortado Basic Print is Cortado's basic solution for mobile printing. The enterprise solution 'Cortado Corporate Server' and the Premium Services of the hosted Cortado Online Services are recommended for printing Office documents, HTML e-mails and websites.
Price and availability
Cortado Basic Print is compliant with all BlackBerry smartphones that have BlackBerryr Device Software v4.1 or higher. The software is available now for EUR 29.98. To view a free demo, see www.cortado.com/basicprint.
