Mobile Communications Conference Gathers World’s Wireless Leaders in May 2006

SAN DIEGO-May 19, 2005- Next year, San Diego will be ground zero for mobile carriers, wireless application developers, handset manufacturers, service providers and everyone interested in shaping the future of mobile communications, as the Global Mobile conference series returns to San Diego, California on May 10-12. For more information and to register for the world’s premier conference related to mobile data communications, visit www.globalmobile.ac

Global Mobile 2006 is designed as a showcase for next-generation mobile applications, technologies, strategies and innovations that will define the future of the wireless industry. Attendees will explore the development of new mobile revenue streams and confer on topics relating to platforms, interoperability, premium billing, distribution of content to mobile devices, community building and an array of other subjects involving mobile technologies and applications.

As a global leader in mobile communications and as host to the largest community of mobile phone users in the world, SMS.ac, Inc. (www.sms.ac/corporate) is the company that will bring Global Mobile 2006 to San Diego. SMS.ac’s chairman and chief executive officer, Michael Pousti says that Global Mobile 2006 arrives at a pivotal juncture for an emerging industry that is projected to generate $200 billion in revenue by 2010.

“SMS.ac is excited and privileged to bring this global showcase to gorgeous San Diego,” said Pousti. “The panel discussions, interactive exhibits and keynote addresses at Global Mobile 2006 are designed to be controversial and thought-provoking, while instigating positive change on a worldwide scale.

“The last Global Mobile conference attracted attendees from five continents,” added Pousti. And roughly 87 percent of those attendees were executive decision-makers. If you are looking to form alliances and get deals done, Global Mobile 2006 will again be the spot where it all happens.”
