FOSTER CITY, Calif.-Rearden Commerce, Inc., the creator of a leading on-demand platform that helps companies buy and manage services online, today announced the launch of two new capabilities: a site dashboard that monitors services spending, and a mobile dining service that delivers a best-in-class mobile dining experience to users while identifying savings opportunities, anywhere and anytime. Now, companies will have greater visibility into spending patterns and can drive higher adoption rates to bring cost savings in todays uncertain economy.
In an economy where cost savings are a top priority, businesses need increased visibility into adoption and spend trends, so they can make informed decisions and roll out any course corrections that may be needed, said Patrick Grady, founder and CEO of Rearden Commerce. Companies of all sizes look to Rearden Commerce for an intuitive spend management platform that is easy to use by both purchasing departments and individual employees. We continue to innovate and build applications that are addictive and user-friendly creating a true win-win in terms of employee satisfaction and company savings goals.
The Site Dashboard is an online, at-a-glance tool that allows companies to monitor and manage spending for multiple service categories, aggregating data in real time. Companies can review data on adoption rates, transaction metrics, spending and benchmark trends to determine policy adjustments needed to improve cost savings. In addition, travel management companies (TMCs) that use the Rearden Commerce Platform can use the Site Dashboard to monitor a companys trends and make recommendations to reduce spend in certain categories.
The mobile dining service helps corporations manage dining expenses, which accounts for seven to nine percent of a companys travel and entertainment expenses. The mobile dining service, an expansion of the Mobile Personal Assistant, brings employees the convenience of searching and booking restaurant reservations based on a companys policies directly from ones mobile device. The application is location-aware and provides information based on an employee's current placement. Additionally, it clearly marks restaurants that enroll in a dining program that provides participating companies with rebates of up to 10 percent when an employee chooses to dine at one of the thousands of restaurants within the network.
As the Mobile Personal Assistant is so closely tied to the intuitive Rearden Personal Assistant, the application applies both ones personal dining preferences and existing itinerary. The mobile dining application pulls together content from multiple providers, including maps and reviews to provide employees with relevant dining information to make well-informed decisions while on-the-go.
