RouteMatch TS(TM) To Replace Outdated, UNIX-Based Software Application
ATLANTA-- Oct. 5, 2005--RouteMatch Software, Inc. today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide its flagship transportation management software application, RouteMatch TS(TM), to Sussex County Transit (SCT), a Division of the County of Sussex based in Newton, NJ. SCT provides transportation to seniors and persons with disabilities who are residents of Sussex County. RouteMatch is charged with providing SCT with a fully functional demand-response management system.
SCT chose RouteMatch to automate its daily operations and management functions, and seamlessly integrate geographic information system (GIS) and advanced scheduling and routing capabilities to reduce operating expenses, improve customer service, and automate the billing and reporting process. RouteMatch's software will provide the ability to access the system remotely for support and regional transportation coordination. In addition, the software will also be capable of seamlessly integrating future technologies such as automated vehicle location (AVL) and mobile data communication (MDC) modules.

Sussex County Transit, based in Lafayette, New Jersey, provides transportation services to County residents who are: senior citizens (60+); persons with disabilities; or economically disadvantaged. SCT provides subscription trips to employment, dialysis, nutrition sites, rehabilitation sites, radiation, etc. and demand-response trips to doctors' appointments, out-patient clinics, beauty parlors, shopping, etc. SCT averages 300 trips daily or 74,000 annual trips. Service is provided five days a week with a fleet of 25 vehicles.
