(TCS) (NASDAQ: TSYS), a global leader in wireless data technology, will be demonstrating end-to-end Location-Based solutions at the Mobile Location Services (MLS) Conference on May 17 and 18, 2005, in Barcelona, Spain. These solutions enhance mobile operators' ability to drive incremental data services revenue by monetizing one of the unique aspects of mobile phones - knowing the location of the wireless user. The demonstrations showcase TCS' complete broadband Internet Protocol (IP) location services in Global System for Mobile Communications/ Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (GSM/UMTS) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) networks that deliver precise location with high performance, sub-10 second time to first fix.

The solutions utilize TCS' hosted Assisted Global Positioning System (A-GPS) server location infrastructure, A-GPS-capable handsets, and downloadable handset applications. The location technology, based on the X1 standard, has been commercially deployed in six networks to date, and is enhancing those operators' data services revenue today. The TCS solution also provides seamless migration to the Open Mobile Alliance's (OMA) Secure User Plane (SUPL) protocol.
