Vancouver, BC — September 11, 2008 — With the explosion of Flex-based online mapping platforms, lat49 is excited to release a Flash API for their online-map advertising network. This newest offering will enable websites with a Flash map component to integrate the full functionality of lat49 quickly and easily, allowing them to serve relevant display ads based on their users' direct interaction with the map. As with the lat49 Ajax map API, ads can be displayed either on the map itself, or off-map, depending on the site's preference. Lat49 offers several IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) standard ad sizes, and includes functionality for Flash ads, expandables and interactive forms.
