Boston, MA – August 28, 2008 – Today, uLocate Communications announced its award winning location-based application platform, WHERE, has been chosen by Sprint to power the portal that will deliver local information and mapping services to XOHM™ WiMAX service subscribers. In this role, WHERE will act as a development platform for content owners that wish to harness the location information inherent in 4G WiMAX technology for their applications. As part of the announcement uLocate’s Buddy Beacon®, North America’s leading friend finding application will also be available to XOHM users.

WHERE will provide XOHM with a fully converged mobile Internet experience and feature unique location based content from leading brands including:

• Yelp - a useful service which provides user generated reviews on restaurants and businesses nearby.

• Topix - the nation’s leading news aggregator service which delivers headlines relevant to a user’s current location.

• Eventful - a fun and easy way to find out what events are happening in your neighborhood.
