Deal with MyNet opens GyPSii up to 480 million+ China Mobile subscribers
26th August, 2008, Salo, Finland and Amsterdam, The Netherlands: GeoSentric Oyjs (NASDAQ OMX: GEO1V), GeoSolutions BV Business Unit (GyPSii), the market-leading mobile digital lifestyle application and geo-mobility social networking platform, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Nanjing MyNet Ltd to make the GyPSii mobile social networking platform available to customers of China Mobile, the worlds biggest mobile phone operator by subscriber numbers.
MyNet provides mobile services and applications to China Mobiles 480 million+ subscribers. The agreement with GyPSii means that MyNet will offer the full suite of GyPSii location and mobile social networking features and services to China Mobile customers.
The agreement has provisions for GyPSii to share revenues based on current business models for mobile social networking that provide a highly flexible and wide range of revenue streams, including both subscriptions and advertising revenues as the market evolves and matures.
