DEVELOPERS SHOWCASE NEW MOBILE APPLICATIONS AT CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & ENTERTAINMENT 2008®
Washington, D.C. August 6, 2008 As a result of increased demand, CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2008® has added space to its Developers Pavilion, which will showcase the latest innovations in wireless data solutions. This year's event promises to highlight more inventive mobile applications than ever before as demand for space in the Developers Pavilion has exceeded expectations. CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment takes place September 10-12, at Moscone West in San Francisco.
As part of a focus on mobile business, CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment will host a series of partner seminars that discuss mobile web applications. Seminars will be hosted by CTIA, Mobile Web Strategies, NAVTEQ and the Wireless Industry Partnership.
The Mobile Web Strategies seminar is being held on Tuesday, September 9. Experts will discuss the factors that will drive the next generation of development, sustainable business models, enhancing the user experience through effective design, mobile retail purchasing, billing and mobile social networks. NAVTEQ Connections, being held on Tuesday, September 9, will focus on the advancement and evolution of location-enabled services and the dynamic information behind an increasingly mobile environment. Application Developers Forum will take place on Thursday, September 11. The Forum will examine the current state of mobile applications development, including the iPhone, Android and Verizon ONI, as well as from specific carriers, handset manufacturers and software developers about their developer programs and platforms. Mobile Jam Session will be held on Friday, September 12. This event will examine the mobile ecosystem and connect experienced and talented developers, with industry experts and decision makers. Topics will include mobile payments and messaging, developer resources and getting to market. Produced by the Wireless Industry Partnership, this event will be held at Moscone West.
