Announcing an exceptional opportunity to present your ideas,
experiences and insights about electric power transmission and
distribution Smart Grid Initiatives to a select group of the most
influential users, specifiers and buyers as well as top suppliers,
consultants and other key participants in the North American Electric
Power Transmission & Distribution field.
This first-of-its-kind event will draw attendees from throughout North America and other regions including utilities, suppliers, consultants and others eager to learn and update their knowledge about Smart Grid drivers, issues and trends as well as exploring the latest supplier offerings. The exhibition will feature products, systems, services and application solutions critical to utilities of all types and locations. Key conference topic areas fall into two major groups, which embrace a wide range of utility business and technology components including:
We are now accepting abstracts for the conference technical program for this extraordinary event. Each session will be approximately 45 minutes in length, with special accommodations considered for topics and panel sessions needing more time, as determined by the conference program advisory committee following a review of all submissions.
Presentations must be of a non-commercial, educational, exemplary value to those involved in any/all aspects of Smart Grid Initiatives (SGI) within the electric utility environment. Please use the list of suggested topics (above) as guidance for abstract submissions. Papers/presentations addressing these or other topics deemed pertinent to SGI will be considered by the conference committee.
Guidelines for Submissions
The TITLE of your abstract should concisely capture the main focus of your presentation
The CATEGORY or categories (3 max) where you feel your presentation fits best
Your ABSTRACT should be no more than one page, summarizing your presentation
Provide AUTHOR (and co-author, as applicable) contact information
Provide a SHORT BIO for each presenter
Submissions Deadline: August 8, 2008
