China Outsourcing Firm Delivers AirPrint's Solution for Progressive Mobile Development

WAKEFIELD, Mass., July 14  -- Dextrys, a premier US-based China outsourcing firm delivering Product Engineering and Application Services, today announced that Dextrys' Chinese Mobile Center of Excellence is deploying Microsoft.NET technology and advanced mobile content development capabilities that are dramatically abbreviating AirPrint Network's development cycle and equipping the company with cutting-edge mobile development resources. By extending its mobile development expertise and providing access into China, the largest, growing consumer market in the world, Dextrys is "Making China Easy" for AirPrint Networks.

"The strategic combination of AirPrint's IP and Dextrys' mobile development skills, has expedited our developmental processes and we are now entering into field trials with commercial customers far ahead of schedule," said Mark Thirman, founder/CEO of AirPrint Networks.

AirPrint is leveraging an intersection of Dextrys' core competencies in Microsoft.NET and mobile client development to offer mobile telecom carriers the ability to securely and conveniently support documentation via mobile devices. "This technology solution, a result of the partnership between Dextrys and AirPrint, will provide us a cost and time-to-market advantage to deliver next-gen telecom services to our end customers," said William Hiller, board chair to NextCarrier, a New York based carrier providing value added products and services for the telecommunications industry.

Via Dextrys' mobile content development capabilities, AirPrint will power a new generation of mobile printers and applications, delivering the same security, convenience and confidence that traditional documentation provides. Specifically, the solution enables cell phone users to obtain content including coupons, event and movie tickets, travel information, location-based content including maps, and social networking output.

In addition to utilizing Dextrys' mobile development skills, AirPrint is profiting from Dextrys' local Chinese expertise to launch the technology to a sizable consumer market with an advanced mobile infrastructure. Dextrys' US-based executive team and China-based engineering team have helped to expose AirPrint to China's vast mobile marketplace.

"Our work with AirPrint is proof of the effectiveness of offshore development for mobile delivery," said Brian Keane, CEO of Dextrys. "China's mobile network and infrastructure are arguably the most advanced in the world. Through Dextrys, US-companies are tapping into the innovation and technical talent of China for mobile applications."
