First of its kind widget enables iPhone users to participate in Quibblo polls and surveys and view results by geography
BOSTON-- Pangea Media, a leader in online quizzes and quiz technology, today announced the availability of the Quibblo Polls widget for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
In growing numbers, people are finding that online quizzes, polls and surveys offer a fun and educational way to interact with websites and other users. Marketers are increasingly turning to these applications to engage consumers in new and meaningful ways, leading to valuable insights and more effective advertising. The Quibblo Polls widget is a location-aware quiz application that enables users to take polls and surveys on their iPhone and iPod Touch and then see consolidated results by geography. With the widget, users can participate in polls and then view results by city, state, country or overall. They can also see how others within a ten mile radius respond to the same survey. Using the Quibblo Polls widget, Pangea Media will be featuring a “poll of the day” with questions such as “Which City has the Best Chinese Food?” and “Paper or Plastic?” In addition, users can access additional Quibblo quizzes and content through their iPhones.

The Quibblo Polls widget is built on uLocate Communications’ WHERE application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Each of WHERE’s location enabled widgets delivers content based on the user’s current location and provides the ability to show this content on a map, get directions and share this location with friends.
