Another LBSZone Alert has been released... enjoy this edition for the latest developments in Location-based services.
Hello from the Spatial Media LBSzone...
Let me start off by saying kudos to the WHERE team for coming out with an official build for the Nokia N95 8GB
and the popular N82. Recall WHERE offers
users access to over 60 unique location-based applications - see details here. Congrats go out to all the
semi-finalists of the LBS Challenge APAC edition
- recall the winners will be revealed atCommunicAsia 2008 in Singapore on June 18 - wish I could make it there!
Finally, next week I'll be in San Fran taking in the way cool Where20 event. I've already scheduled a few interviews with
a couple of industry heavy-weights. Also of interest, it looks like a few apps will be officially launched at the event
and social networking appears to once again be the hot topic, this time with more location-aware capabilities -
should be a great 2 days! If you plan on attending be sure to keep an eye open for me or drop a line to editor
at gisuser.com. Remember, it's Cool to know where you are!
