NAVTEQ Unveils CommuteVantage(TM) and Sets New Standard for Television Traffic News

LAS VEGAS, April 14 -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global

navigation, today unveiled CommuteVantage, a powerful new television
traffic platform designed for seamless traffic report production within
one comprehensive real-time data and graphics system.
CommuteVantage smoothly transports viewers from one data source to the next with engaging visual sequences such as an animated 2D flow map to a 3D cityscape fly through, to a live camera view, to a travel time graphic.
CommuteVantage is one of the NAVTEQ Media Solutions demonstrated at booth #C9437 at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, April 14-17, 2008.

centralized user interface for immediate broadcast
-- Broadcast realistic cityscapes that engage viewers with real-time
traffic news using true-to-life city features such as buildings and
landmarks along driving routes
-- Display traffic "gadgets" for quick-reference content such as travel
times on 2D and 3D flow maps
CommuteVantage utilizes components of NAVTEQ's patented NeXgen(TM) system, the current industry standard in robust, traffic visualization. Also released at the NAB Show are NeXgen enhancements including:
-- Fully integrated live camera views with 2D flow mapping
-- Traffic Around The Clock for dawn, daytime, dusk, and nighttime 3D
