Vendors selected for the Cool Vendor report are innovative, impactful and intriguing
London, 10th April, 2008 Trampoline Systems is one of five vendors featured in the April 2008 Cool Vendors in Collaboration and Social Software, 2008 report by Gartner, Inc. and authored by Nikos Drakos, et al.
The report profiles innovative technology companies providing collaboration tools and social software. It focuses on vendors with innovative approaches to collaboration support and notes that although it is too soon to say which will be rewarded with long-term market success, we can expect to see several of these approaches becoming part of successful collaboration support environments.
"Trampoline is thrilled to be included in this report," says Charles Armstrong, CEO of Trampoline Systems. "Gartner was ahead of the curve in realising that social software was going to be transformative in the enterprise. Now as we see enterprise social computing emerge as a mainstream technology sector, businesses of all kinds are looking to Gartner to provide insight on the key issues and the marketplace players. Trampoline is delighted to be highlighted in this evaluation."

Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are: Innovative, enable users to do things they couldn't do before; Impactful, have, or will have, business impact (not just technology for the sake of technology); Intriguing, have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months.
