HST has begun processing supplies and equipment for immediate shipment to first responders and security personnel on the ground in New Orleans.

"We are marshalling assets to ship immediately," commented Mark Wilson, Director of Security Systems Division for Homeland Security Technology. "Over the weekend we stood up our command center here in Del Mar and began fielding calls for logistical support and security personnel. We are preparing to ship such items needed to set up a local command center such as: Refrigerated vans, 30' Mobile Command Posts, generators, portable flood lighting systems, satellite telephones, satellite internet systems, portable 2-way radios with GPS capability, tents, sanitation equipment, etc. All of these assets can be on the ground in the New Orleans area within 72 hours."

"Major corporations in the Gulf Coast region have hundreds of millions of dollars worth of unsecured property and equipment in their facilities," commented Colonel Jeffrey Powers USMC(Ret), CEO of Homeland Security Technology, Inc. "We have the ability to put private security personnel on the ground to look after these assets until the water is pumped out and electricity is restored to the region. Our Security Systems Division can support those personnel by setting up our local command post and providing them with the food, water, fuel and electricity they need to perform their duties."
