Take note, Nokia is hosting a free, 2 day camp in April taking place in Russia - topics include Web runtime and location-based services (LBS)
From Nokia:
The Code Camp will take place on April 7 and 8 at the Radisson SAS
Royal Hotel, in St. Petersburg, Russia. Attend one or both sessions;
the choice is yours. Whatever you choose, we're sure you'll find your
time with us to be well-spent.
The April 7 session will delve into Web runtimes. This stimulating
event will combine speaker presentations with a hands-on coding
competition to help you explore the WidSets runtime and the S60
platform's Web Runtime (WRT). Morning presentations will explore the
essentials of WidSets and WRT, the question of which runtime is right
for you, and much more. In the afternoon, take part in a hands-on
widget-coding competition, complete with examples and support from our
tutors. The winner will go home with a free Nokia N95 8GB mobile
device.
The April 8 session will spotlight LBS. We'll take you all the way from
an overview of LBS and a look at S60 APIs for location-aware services
in the morning to a hands-on LBS-coding session in the afternoon. Great
prizes await the best efforts from the coding session, which will be
supported by Forum Nokia tutors.
You can find all topics of the day on the agenda site. Please note that
all presentations will be in English and no translation is available.
Prerequisites: You should have basic understanding of S60 development.
Bring your laptop to the workshop and pre-install the S60 3.2 SDK from www.forum.nokia.com/tools
