Hey developers...  take note, if you register your app today you'll have a chance to win up to 15K Euros in cash prizes and an opportunity to showcase your winning application at the S60 Summit in Barcelona, Spain. Those of you just coming back from the LBS Challenge might wish to get in on this one!

Forum Nokia has always done a great job of giving developers a chance to showcase their stuff! Most recently, Forum Nokia has announced their latest developer competition -  The Nokia Code Camp Competition.

The Forum Nokia Code Camp Competition is on and we are looking for the next developer rock star! Registration began March 18th, so get ready to code your application and enter.

About The Competition

Global Prize

- Cash award of 15 K Euro for the Global WRT and Flash Winner
- Success case/PR on the winning application
- Demonstration opportunity at S60 Summit pod

Regional Prizes

- Cash awards (varies by region)
- Demo opportunities at local events
- Transportation to the S60 Summit on May 29 and accommodation in Barcelona, Spain

Judging process and winner announcements

Regional Judging

The panel of judges of all entries will choose finalists and winner according to the following criteria:

- Quality / Functionality — the application must be fully functional and run successfully on a Nokia S60 Device
- Uniqueness, novelty value and innovativeness — display creativity in applications, use established technology in unique way
- Creativity and Design — leverage latest technologies to demonstrate superior design (UI, graphics..etc)
- Usability / Overall end user experience — ease of use, ability to fulfill users’ needs, customer adoption.

After the panel has announced finalists and winners, their decisions are final.

The Regional Winners and finalists for each technology will be announced on May 18th, 2008.
