CitySquares Announces Partnership with Maponics

BOSTON, March 31-- CitySquares (www.CitySquares.com) is announcing its new partnership with Maponics to bring superior mapping technology to its local search content. Now, visitors to CitySquares will have access to the most accurate data for navigating neighborhoods and accessing businesses.

CitySquares' Founder & CEO Ben Saren says, "Through this partnership, Maponics will provide our users a richer, more visual mapping experience. CitySquares has made a name for itself by focusing on local neighborhoods and the businesses which make them unique. Now, with Maponics data integrated on our site and within our new maps, we can offer easy-to-use mapping software that helps users differentiate the various neighborhoods in and around Boston. We are pleased to partner with such an innovative company."

Maponics (www.maponics.com), based in Norwich, VT, provides custom digital mapping products, map data and services to businesses in local search, social marketing, real estate and other Web 2.0 industries. Its data is constantly updated and promises the most accurate neighborhood map boundaries available. Currently Maponics offers neighborhood data for over 400 cities across the country and they're adding new cities every quarter. Its client list includes the nation's largest corporations - over 20 percent of the Fortune 500.

"We are thrilled that CitySquares has chosen to power its local search and mapping with Maponics Neighborhood Data," says Darrin Clement, CEO of Maponics. "Being able to search by neighborhood, rather than ZIP Code or town, will make finding local businesses more intuitive and fulfilling for CitySquares users."

CitySquares is a local company that brings together local businesses and their consumers to provide rich, hyper-local content for urban and suburban communities. With its recent expansion, CitySquares' footprint extends from Boston to the Route 128 belt and offers information on over 65,000 local businesses.
