The iPass Handheld Hotspot Finder—available for free at www.ipass.com/mobilehotspot—helps mobile workers to locate nearby Wi-Fi hotspots in the iPass network of more than 95,000 broadband locations in over 80 countries using the Web browser on their smartphones.

After connecting to the iPass Handheld Hotspot Finder web page, the user simply inputs his location (city and state, and zip code or airport location) and the hotspot finder generates a list of all available local hotspots. Selecting a hotspot from the list delivers specifics about the venue as well as a local map.
