AVL Platform Adds Radio Frequency Identification to Enhance Location Awareness Capability
VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA March 29, 2008 - AppLocation Systems Inc. will demonstrate MOBILEFusion RFID at CTIA Wireless 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. MOBILEFusion links RFID real time location capabilities to complement its GPS AVL fleet management solutions for end-to-end supply chain visibility.
AppLocation uses bar-code, RFID, RTLS, GPS and Location-based services for mobile resource management; workforce, field service, fleet and yard management, maritime fleet and public transit applications to improve productivity. By running its mobile applications on GPS-enabled handsets, AppLocation extends its existing line of business applications to mobile workers and goes beyond AVL GPS fleet tracking.
AppLocation will be demonstrating its wireless solutions for tracking and locating assets during CTIA Wireless 2008, April 1-3, in booth 6505-P4A in the Canada Pavilion, Hall N2/N1. AppLocation uses its LBS expertise to track assets wirelessly improving a clients logistic and supply chain business decisions on land, on water, and in the air - utilizing the latest technology in CDMA/GPRS/Satellite devices, mapping, sensors, RFID, RTLS and wireless network management.
