A new facebook application enables users of Nokia Sports Tracker (Beta) to share their tracks with their friends via facebook.
By loading the application within facebook (user login required), a sports track (apparently the most recently added) is displayed on the facebook users homepage. Visitors are treated to a google map image showing the track location as well as several thumbnail images as a teaser. Clicking on the map or images calls up sports tracker within a new web browser window. This is a welcomed addition to the Sports Tracker user as it enables very simple sharing, something that was not easily accomplished prior to using the app.
To install the facebook application, simply visit http://apps.facebook.com/nstbeta/, login to your facebook account (you'll be prompted for this), generate a Sports Tracker key, the app has made this very simple... simply follow the instructions, then add the application to your facebook account.
