Cortado's hosted Exchange services are ready to support the upcoming
iPhone capability for direct push e-mail, calendar and address book
synchronization.
(Berlin, March 2008) With Cortado's mailbox packages based on Microsoft Exchange and including Direct Push technology, iPhone users all over the world can now easily benefit from the advantages of professional mobile e-mail, contact and appointment synchronization in real time. Both individual business users and small to medium-sized companies can benefit from these new features without the need to run their own mail server environment.
"Right from the beginning we have supported the iPhone with our Cortado free service which is focused on consumers. With the upcoming iPhone's full Exchange and ActiveSync support, we are now able to provide complete professional push mail packages even for business users," says Dirk Löwenberg, Business Director Cortado Services.
To be ready for the launch of this new service, Apple iPhone users should access www.cortado.com directly from their iPhone's Safari browser to be among the first to be informed once the service is available.
Cortado's push mail packages with real-time synchronization of contacts and appointments are free of charge for the first 30 days. A hosted 2 GB mailbox with ActiveSync and direct push service, also including both Outlook 2007 for Windows and Entourage for Mac software and license are available from EUR 9.98 / USD 11.98 per month.
