NAVTEQ map data used in conjunction with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 provides the opportunity for businesses to incorporate location intelligence into decision making processes enabling the widespread deployment of geographic data and tools in both enterprise and departmental business applications.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 delivers comprehensive spatial support that allows businesses to seamlessly consume, use, and extend location-based data through spatial-enabled applications. The spatial support in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 can provide developers with the necessary tools to build high-performance location-enabled applications that help to improve decision-making through the spatial analysis of data.
