The Kentucky Geographic Society will present its third annual Parent/Child GPS Day on March 29 at Western Kentucky University.
Learning to Use GPS will begin at 9 a.m. on the lawn of the Environmental Sciences and Technology Building. Students and parents will learn basic GPS skills and then will compete to find geocaches on campus.
Participants will be provided GPS units to use and training for the treasure hunt. This event is limited to 30 participants.
