CHICAGO, Dec. 17-- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, today announced the addition of American Digital Cartography, Inc. (ADCi) as a Zone Partner on the NAVTEQ Network for Developers (NN4D) site. ADCi joins current NN4D Zone Partners Autodesk and DeCarta in providing NN4D members with the resources and support needed for rapid development of next generation, location-based applications.
As a value added reseller, ADCi licenses NAVTEQ map data by single or multiple counties, states, provinces, or the entire country. It delivers NAVTEQ data in all of the ESRI, MapInfo, and Oracle Spatial formats in the projection and coordinate system specified for individual applications. In addition, ADCi offers customer service to assist with appropriate data licensing, responds to inquiries promptly, and automatically offers follow-ups on update/maintenance subscriptions.
