A nice piece in the NY Times (online) from O'reilly MEdia founder Tim O'reilly... the piece discusses the impending collission course, the state of the US Carriers, and the race for competitive advantage.
I like this statement from O'reilly...
This is not open. Its just a little less closed. A true open
platform like the Internet doesnt have certification of trusted
devices or applications. Developers get to do anything they want, with
the marketplace as their only judge and jury.
