Next Inning Technology Updates Outlooks for Google, SiRF Technology Holdings, STMicroelectronics, and NVE
PRINCETON, N.J., Nov. 30 -- Next Inning Technology Research (http://www.nextinning.com/), a subscription service focused on semiconductor and technology stocks, announced it has published updated outlooks for Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) , SiRF Technology Holdings (NASDAQ:SIRF) , STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM) , and NVE (NASDAQ:NVEC) .
Editor Paul McWilliams predicted the trading action last week with near perfection. He alerted subscribers to expect a short rally following a strong report from Hewlett-Packard but warned that the release of the Fed minutes would cut the rally short. You can read what he thinks the market has in store for us this week with a free 21-day trial subscription:
In response to member inquiries, McWilliams wrote: "The key point to understand here is the end game for Google -- it's not to enter the handset market per se, it's to protect and enhance its core web based services/advertising model; that is also the case with its newly announced location awareness initiative..."
McWilliams also looks at these topics:
-- How will Google leverage its mobile phone and location awareness
initiatives to benefit its core business model?
-- Does Google's location awareness initiative, "My Location," affect
companies involved in the hot GPS sector; specifically SiRF, a
semiconductor company with a budding business in the handset space?
-- What factor has weighed in STMicro's stock price? Does McWilliams
think the selling is overdone?
-- Does McWilliams believe that new memory technologies like those offered
by NVE have solid investment prospects?
Founded in September 2002, Next Inning's model portfolio has returned 309% since its inception versus 106% for the Nasdaq.
